Welcome to the only site on the internet devoted entirely to the multi-talented entertainer, Judy Holliday. Though she is most fondly remembered for her Oscar-winning role as "Billie Dawn" in the 1950 film "Born Yesterday", Judy was also an established and respected performer in several other fields, including music, radio and theatre. In 1957, her distinguished career in the theatre culminated in a Tony award for her performance as "Ella Peterson" in the musical "Bells Are Ringing". In real life, she was anything but the stereotypical "dumb blonde" characters she so often portrayed on the stage and screen. In her brief, but spectacular life, she managed to leave behind a legacy of laughter punctuated by a wealth of talent, personality and charm. Below you will find a set of buttons that will take you to the various sections of this site. For a much more detailed look at her life and career, click on the "Biographical Essay" button below.
